Korg SP170 88-key Digital Slab Piano With Speakers White Reviews
If you're looking for a versatile keyboard synth, this is not it. This is a piano. The other sounds are fun (Fender Rhodes is great), but that isn't why I bought it or what I plan to do with it. Two things I was looking for: awesome piano samples, and a realistic touch. This Korg does those very well, even better (IMHO) than the Yamaha P95. Of course saying a digital piano is like a real piano is like saying your flight simulator is like a real airplane: every plane is different, every "real" piano plays and sounds different. So, as I discovered when shopping, I need to pick the touch and sound I like, rather than hurt myself trying to find the "most accurate" or "best" one. This unit is criticized because the controls aren't layed out in front of you; they are built in to the keys. It's a little clumsy at first, but after a few days I'm totally fine with the controls. The built in speakers actually sound pretty good in a living room, but of course won't work for stage. One criticizm: if you're a pro-audio guy, you're left to guess if the output quality from the headphone jacks is stout enough for an instrument level signal (technical details are not available, anywhere, that I could find), so I took no chances and bought a Whirlwind pcDI to stick before the mixer. If you're looking for a piano, this does it, and (if you like it) you won't find better sounds or touch at any price.

Korg keyboard - Karlee Cox - Sparks, NV United States
We ordered this Korg Keyboard for our vacation condo so our daughter could practice while away from her regular piano. It is excellent! In every way it is excellent. Weight of the keys, the sound, the 88 keys, the ability to plug into earphones and not disturb neighbors. This was by far the best we could have purchased for the space we have and what our needs are. We are very, very pleased!
